Abstract

Acute kidney failure (AKF) is a dangerous condition that can be fatal if not treated quickly and appropriately. Primary care physicians (PFCs) have a crucial role in early detection and early intervention to improve patient outcomes. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of early intervention by PFCs on the outcomes of patients with ARF. Using an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach, this study analyzed 50 ARF patients treated by PFCs in primary health care. Data were obtained from medical records and direct interviews with medical personnel. The results showed that early intervention by PFCs significantly reduced severe complications and increased patient recovery rates (p < 0.05). Supporting factors include adequate training and the availability of simple diagnostic tools. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening PFC competencies and improving facilities in primary health care.
