Situs OJS ini merupakan dedikasi dan komitmen Institut Kesehatan Medistra Lubuk Pakam untuk memberikan ruang bagi para akademisi dan praktisi di bidang kesehatan dalam mendiseminasikan hasil pemikiran, baik berupa hasil penelitian dan pengabdian. Kami bersifat independen, profesional, dan memberikan ruang seluas-luasnya kepada para dosen, akademisi, dan praktisi untuk berbagi gagasan, ide, dan temuan kepada masyarakat luas. Pemanfaatan artikel yang diterbitkan juga terbuka bagi siapapun yang ingin memanfaatkannya dengan mengacu pada kebijakan pengutipan artikel (sititasi). Jurnal yang kami kelola ini memiliki e ISSN yang dikeluarkan secara resmi oleh LIPI, dan juga terindeks di berbagai Lembaga Pengindeks Jurnal.

    Jurnal Pengmas Kestra (JPK) terbit dua kali setahun, yakni periode Januari - Juni, dan Juli - Desember tiap tahunnya. JPK memberikan ruang bagi akademisi dan pengguna hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk mendiseminasikan, menginformasikan, mendiskusikan dan menggunakan hasil pengabdian sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas kebijakan di bidang kesehatan yang berbasis ilmiah dan dapat dipertanggung jawabkan. Jurnal ini menyajikan hasil pengabdian masyarakat bidang kesehatan. Artikel pengabdian masyarakat yang dimuat dalam jurnal ini merupakan topik penting dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang kesehatan, membantu pemecahan masalah seputar kesehatan dan membantu meningkatkan kualitas hidup manusia.
