Jurnal Pengmas Kestra (JPK) terbit dua kali setahun, yakni periode Januari - Juni, dan Juli - Desember tiap tahunnya. JPK memberikan ruang bagi akademisi dan pengguna hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk mendiseminasikan, menginformasikan, mendiskusikan dan menggunakan hasil pengabdian sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas kebijakan di bidang kesehatan yang berbasis ilmiah dan dapat dipertanggung jawabkan. Jurnal ini menyajikan hasil pengabdian masyarakat bidang kesehatan. Artikel pengabdian masyarakat yang dimuat dalam jurnal ini merupakan topik penting dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang kesehatan, membantu pemecahan masalah seputar kesehatan dan membantu meningkatkan kualitas hidup manusia. Jurnal Pengmas Kestra (JPK) bersifat independen, ilmiah, memberi kesempatan yang sama kepada akademisi dari berbagai jenjang dan asal pendidikan tinggi.
